International Folk Music Day 2023
Dear friends of the International Folk Music Day,
The International Folk Music Day 2023 will take place on Sunday, September 10th, 2023 at 11.00 in Aldersbach.
We are looking forward to a wonderful day for musicians, exhibitors and visitors dedicated to international folk music. Featuring Austria, Hungary, Spain, Czech Republic, Slovenia and Ukraine, the event promises to be an unforgettable experience for all.

Programme:
9.00 | Admission in the monastery area |
9.30 | Festive service on the lake stage with Pastor Sebastian Wild and musical accompaniment by the Soizweger Zwoagsang |
10.00 - 17.00 | Farmers' and craftsmen's market with culinary specialities; large children's and general programme |
11.00 | Opening concert followed by the presentation of the International Folk Music Award to LaBrassBanda and GERDAN Ensemble |
11.30 - 17.00 | Music, dance and singing performances on all stages |
17.00 | Closing musical performance with the Bamhagge Buam |
Entrance fee: Adults 10,- Euro, children and youths 3,- Euro (up to 6 years free entrance).
Tickets are now available at the box office and in advance only at the monastery shop in Aldersbach.
